Delta Dubs Launch - February 20, 2023 Basketball had always been a part of our lives, but when our son outgrew his local rec league and wanted a higher level of competition, we struggled to find an affordable AAU program in our area. The costs were overwhelming, and we realized many talented kids were missing out simply because of financial barriers. Instead of settling, we created the Delta Dubs, an AAU program that offers the same competition and experiences as traditional teams—just without the high price tag. What started as a way to help our son grew into a movement, ensuring that any kid with the passion and dedication to play has the opportunity to do so. With the Delta Dubs, if you’ve got the heart, we’ll give you the shot.

Delta Dubs 1st Practice - June 14th, 2023 We unlocked the gym doors for the very first Delta Dubs practice, turning our vision into reality. Players arrived—some eager, some nervous—but as the sound of bouncing basketballs and squeaking sneakers filled the air, hesitation faded. We ran drills, built chemistry, and watched as overlooked talent found a home. Parents watched with pride, players pushed through sweat and exhaustion, and by the end, it was clear—this wasn’t just a practice; it was the birth of a family. The Delta Dubs had officially arrived.

The Dubs Are Growing - July 2, 2023 What started as a single practice has now grown into something even bigger—three Delta Dubs teams, each carrying the same heart and determination that sparked our journey. We now have 11U Boys, 14U Boys, and 11U Girls, expanding our mission to give more young athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level without the high costs. With every practice, every game, and every huddle, our players continue to prove that talent isn’t defined by what you can afford but by how hard you’re willing to work. As we grow, so does our commitment to ensuring that every kid with a passion for basketball has a place to develop, compete, and belong. The Delta Dubs are more than a program—we’re a movement.

Delta Dubs 1st Game - August 7, 2023 Our first games were more than just matchups on the schedule—they were a statement. As our Delta Dubs teams took the court for the first time, the energy was electric. Nerves buzzed, parents cheered, and our players, some playing at this level for the first time, faced the challenge head-on. The competition was tough, but so were we. Every steal, every basket, and every defensive stand proved that we belonged. Wins and losses weren’t the focus—growth, effort, and heart were. By the final buzzer, our players walked off the court different than they arrived—more confident, more determined, and more united. Our first games weren’t just the beginning of a season; they were the foundation of something bigger. The Delta Dubs had arrived.
TopNotch SummerSlam Champs - September 16, 2023 Winning the TopNotch Summer Slam Championship was a defining moment for the Delta Dubs—proof that our vision, hard work, and belief in these young athletes were paying off. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, our players left everything on the court, battling through tough competition with grit, teamwork, and heart. Every pass, every bucket, and every defensive stand showed just how far we had come. When the final whistle blew and we were crowned champions, it wasn’t just about the trophy—it was about proving that an affordable program could still produce elite talent. The Delta Dubs weren’t just here to play; we were here to win, grow, and build something special. This was just the beginning.
Summer Slam V Champions - September 30, 2023 Winning the 2023 Summer Slam V Championship was another milestone in the Delta Dubs journey, proving once again that our program could compete with the best. Our players showed relentless effort, skill, and teamwork, battling through tough matchups to claim the title. Every game tested our resilience, but with determination and heart, we rose to the occasion. When the final buzzer sounded and we were crowned champions, it wasn’t just about the victory—it was about the journey, the growth, and the belief that hard work always pays off. Competed on the Sacramento Kings Court - October 22, 2023 Delta Dubs took a monumental step forward, traveling to Sacramento to compete on the Sacramento Kings’ home court—an experience our players would never forget. Stepping onto an NBA floor, under the bright arena lights, was a dream come true, and our teams embraced the moment with confidence and determination. We went 1-1 in our division, battling against top competition and proving that we belonged on that stage. Every dribble, shot, and defensive stop carried extra weight, knowing we were playing where the pros played. It wasn’t just about the games—it was about the journey, the memories, and the belief that with hard work, any court can be ours. The Delta Dubs were making waves, and this was only the beginning.

Delta Dubs Visit Golden State Warriors - March 22, 2024 Taking a group of Delta Dubs players to the Golden State Warriors’ practice facility was an unforgettable experience, giving our athletes a taste of what it’s like to train at the highest level. From the moment they stepped onto the court where NBA champions have prepared for battle, the energy was electric. Guided through elite-level drills and skill development sessions, our players pushed themselves harder than ever, soaking in every moment and every lesson. It wasn’t just about improving their game—it was about inspiration, opportunity, and proving that they belong in spaces like this. Seeing their eyes light up as they trained on the same hardwood as their idols reminded us why we started this journey—to give young athletes access to experiences that push them to dream bigger and work harder. The Delta Dubs are just getting started.

Hosting our 1st Tryouts - May 30, 2024 Hosting our first Delta Dubs tryouts was a milestone that proved just how much our program had grown. Players from all over came ready to showcase their skills, compete, and earn a spot on the team. The gym was filled with energy—fast breaks, sharp passes, and determination in every drill. As we evaluated talent, it became clear that the demand for an affordable, high-level AAU program was bigger than we imagined. The outcome? We expanded, forming three new teams, giving even more young athletes the opportunity to develop and compete. What started as a small vision had now evolved into a movement, and with every new player that joined, the Delta Dubs family grew stronger. This was just the beginning of something special.
3on3 Hoop It Up Champions - August 12, 2024 Our Delta Dubs girls made a statement when they stepped onto the court for the 3-on-3 Hoop It Up Tournament—and they didn’t just compete, they dominated. From the first game, they showcased their skill, teamwork, and relentless determination, outplaying every opponent that stood in their way. With quick ball movement, lockdown defense, and clutch shooting, they battled through the competition and emerged as champions. Winning the tournament wasn’t just about taking home the trophy—it was about proving that hard work, dedication, and the right opportunities can take you to the top.
